Mini Puff Pastry Parcels

Instructions

1. Prepare the Filling

For meat filling:

  1. Heat the oil in a pan.

  2. Add the onions and cook until soft.

  3. Add the minced meat and cook until browned.

  4. Season with salt, pepper, cumin, and paprika.

  5. Let it cool completely.

For cheese filling:
Mix the cheeses with herbs in a bowl.

2. Cut the Puff Pastry

  1. Cut each pastry sheet into 9 or 12 equal squares.

  2. Place a spoonful of filling into the centre of each square.

3. Shape the Parcels

  1. Bring all four corners of the pastry together and pinch to seal.

  2. Place seam-side down on a lined baking tray.

4. Brush & Bake

  1. Brush the tops with beaten egg.

  2. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) for 20–25 minutes,
    or until golden, puffy, and crisp.

5. Serve

✔ Always let hot fillings cool before assembling — this keeps the pastry crisp.
✔ Seal edges tightly to prevent leakage during baking.
